Email: the blessing and the curse .
Why do business people see email in such positive and negative ways? Is it, as others have said, "E-vidence mail" and "E-vil mail?" Or, is it a hyper-modern communication tool, fast, efficient and ubiquitous? Why do so many professionals use, and abuse, email? This course is designed to answer those, and other, questions.
In this course you will answer these questions:

- When is it appropriate to use each form?
- How do we determine communication objectives?
- How do we create credibility?
- How can we understand and relate to audiences?
- What are the differences between email and other media?
- How can email help or hurt business people?
- What are the best techniques for writing email?
- What is the Grammar of Email?
- When is it appropriate to use acronyms, emoticons and other email shorthand?
- What is accepted Email Etiquette?
Class Size
Minimum 6 per class. Large groups will be divided into small sections to provide more effective one on one training.
Format
In order to fit with your organization's needs the class may be taught as a one or two day event.
